WinMerge hasn't been updated in a while, but still very capable, and much better than the VS built-in tool prior to VS 2012.ÄiffMerge offers three-pane comparison, which I can't live without when resolving merge conflicts. The Git tool window has everything you need for committing and pushing changes to code, managing branches, and resolving merge conflicts. Go to Tools -> Options to bring up the Options dialog Visual Studio 2022 has built-in support for Git version control to clone, create, and open your own repositories. ![]() Here are instructions on how to setup Visual Studio to use those tools.
